Habanero Fused Olive Oil
Our small batch Habanero fused olive oil is complex and spicy with notes of tropical fruit and citrus. It’s made by crushing together early harvest Frantoio olives with fresh, ripe Habanero chilies. The combination is processed in a malaxer, which fuses together the essential oils of both ingredients, making for a marriage that boasts a lingering heat.
The reputation of the Habanero precedes itself. It was once named the hottest chili pepper in the world, so keep in mind that a little of this oil goes a long way. Use it to finish ceviche, spice up some scrambled eggs, drizzle over salsa or toss a little with roasted veggies.
